The Blessed Society
It is a mixture of documentation and staging inspired by anthropologist Horace Miner's essay "Naciremas" on cultural relativism.
The proposal calls for the questioning of the orders established by our society regarding the standards of beauty, success and gender.
The series represents the indoctrination through the different
stages of our life until reaching one of its most feared moments: old age and its uselessness.
The mixture of purely documentary images and scenarios is consistent with this philosophy of life, where the montage, the constructed image, blends with reality, making it impossible for us to differentiate which is which.
